What is your dream job? We all have been asked this questions and at times most of us did not know what to anwer. As we go through live and gain life and work experience the dream job concept had changed too. We are currently living in the Age of AI. Companies are in a race to jump on using AI, creating their own AI models, so they can better serve their clients, but how much of that is really true?
AI is shaking up every industry and area of our lives with the big promise of making easy and leaving us to do the creative tasks, the tasks that are less mundane. The idea is that AI will do the time consuming repetitive tasks and leave us with more time to be spend on more complex ideas and things. Is that really the truth? Are we being sold into the idea of AI but in reality is just another way for companies to earn more money and people to lose their jobs.
We are consumers as well and how many of us hates it when we call and on the other side is an AI agent eager to assist us, but most likely to annoy us with its limited understanding and lack of human touch.
In the age of AI where many jobs are disappearing and people are getting laid off, what is the way to find employment that will provide a better future?
Some experts say upskill with AI skills in demand and that should be the way to stay employable and in demand. AI itself talks about using AI tools to start a bsuness or a podcast or anything else that is not truly a job in the more tradititional way. But how many people can build a business or simply learn new skills..Not many.
